Are you are thinking about getting a new personal computer? Your options are to buy one off-the-shelf, or to build one from manufactured components.
In this class, you will learn how to design the specs for your own computer.
Select the parts you want, and that fit your budget. Install the software yourself, and avoid the “ad-ware”.
Our experienced instructors and mentors will work with you to assemble the PC in class.
If you are a new computer user, here is an introductory course that will prepare you for entry into our regular program of computer instruction.
This class is a guide for first-time users who want to learn the essentials of working with a computer.
You will learn some basic computer terms, and become familiar with the mouse, the keyboard, and some of the objects you see on the screen.
We’ll help you become comfortable working with a personal computer by removing some of the mystery behind it.
This is also an opportunity to learn the basics of a standard computer keyboard – and practice your typing.
