Word Processing for Business
This new course is designed for both people already in work but wishing to improve their skills in Word Processing, as well as people planning to re-enter the workforce. It teaches skills and techniques by creating typical business projects. Instructors provide orientation, guidance and one-on-one coaching through the course.
- Word processing skills and techniques are learned in the context of creating typical business projects.
- The exercises include advertising flyers, business reports, correspondence, and more complex documents created using the Microsoft Wizard.

Prerequisites: |
Basic computer operations, opening programs, finding files, creating folders, saving files, touch typing (high speed is not required), and working from written instructions. |
