Did you know that a tiny computer chip no larger than a baby’s fingernail has the power of a PC? In the last 20 years, primarily due to the explosion of digital technology, digital hearing aids have helped people with age-related hearing deficiencies to regain speech comprehension, and even music appreciation. For some with more serious inner-ear problems, the cochlear implant technology has brought the world of hearing to those who never knew it or thought they'd lost it. Our two speakers will share the podium to describe these technologies...
