There are many ways to donate. You can donate time, money and/or needed items (refurbished donated computers are provided to people that cannot afford one of their own). Perhaps you have an unwanted vehicle, boat or RV. Gold Country Computer Learning Center is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit, all volunteer organization, that relies on the goodwill and involvement of the community. Each year, our volunteers donate over 5,500 hours, providing over 500 low cost computer classes. Why not help as well?
Volunteering
Whether you have yearnings to teach, coach or create a new class, we have the opportunity for you. Perhaps you'd like to do marketing, write articles for the local paper, or just help with the myriad of administrative and technical tasks. Donating
The Gold Country Computer Learning Center provides “low-cost” computer classes for residents of Western Nevada County. How do we keep that cost low? We’re an all volunteer organization and the fees for our classes cover our expenses for printing manuals, paying rent, utilities, etc. But to keep our equipment and software up-to-date we rely on the generosity of the community. We all know how fast technology moves. It’s essential to keep our classrooms up-to-date. Why not help us continue to provide the computer experience that our students might otherwise miss.
