Seminars and User Group
Where? The Computer Learning Center Gate 2 @ The Fairgrounds.
Seminars are held the 4th Wednesday of the month, 1:30pm - 4pm and are given by one of our technical staff. They provide in depth coverage of a single subject and handouts/notes are normally available. Seminars are presentations - rather than a "hands on" class. Workshops on the other hand (see here), are like a single lesson class - with one student per computer.
Pre-registration preferred. (If you forget, come anyway) To register please call Joan at 273-6955 or email Joan. The front desk at 273-4961 is another option. Ask the receptionist to refer to the Seminar sign-in clip board.

User Group meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of every month 9:00-11:00. The first half of the meeting (45 min) is a short discussion on a selected subject - led by one of our "techies". The second half of the meeting is an opportunity to ask our "panel of experts" any question about your computer or hi-tech problem!

Photoshop Express is “free” -- from a company not known for handing out freebees. (Adobe Photoshop is $650 and Adobe Photoshop Elements costs $100 -- so what’s going on?
If you have a high-speed internet connection you can upload your pictures, edit them and share them with friends at the Photoshop Express web site. You’ll be shown how to do it.
